Digital internal loans process, connected to the Intranet

The SSC (Shared Service Center) Division of the Unicredit Group decided to experiment with the use of DataPicker technology applied to the "staff lending" process:

  • 7,500 applications were processed each year according to a complex procedure handled by email and with printed documents
  • Support for an application created with MS Access

DataPicker technology was introduced with the following aims:

  • Reduce working and application processing times
  • Standardize workflows
  • Speed up operations thanks to specific automations
  • Eliminate the dependence on paper
  • Provide support for governance and checks
  • Reduction in working times per application: - 84% = from 108 to 17 minutes
  • Overall reduction of approximately 7 FTEs
