Problem
Toyota Financial needed to streamline and speed up:
- The management of fax communications
- Sending and receiving loan granting communications
Solution
TOYOTA decided to adopt GDD Technology, integrated with OCS management software, to send faxes confirming the granting of loans. A system with two redundant Open Channel Units (each with 4 ISDN channels) was integrated into the OCS management system to allow users to:
- Send confirmation faxes directly from their terminals
- Send and receive communications other than those relating to loans
